PREPARE is a web-based platform from Grape Software that helps food businesses prepare for food hygiene inspections by working through legal requirements and recognised good practice.
Businesses can organise digital evidence, including photographs and documents, to demonstrate how they manage food-safety controls. The aim is to help businesses improve their food hygiene standards while giving inspectors clearer supporting information.
The platform can be accessed through a modern web browser without installing desktop software. Its early development was supported by Durham City Incubator, Northstar Ventures and Business Innovation Centre Sunderland.
